Privacy Policy
Business Tycoon - Idle Empire
Last updated: September 16, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Askal Digital LTD. handles information for Business Tycoon - Idle Empire on iOS. The app is an idle business game. It does not require an account and does not use cloud saves or server-side player profiles. Optional coin packs are sold through Apple's In-App Purchase system. Askal Digital operates a separate first-party game-analytics service as described below.
Contact: support@askaldigital.com. If you email support, we receive the information you choose to send in that email.
Information handled by the app
- Local game progress, settings, language choices, debug preferences, and widget values are stored on your device using Apple local storage such as UserDefaults and the app group container.
- If you allow notifications, the app schedules local reminders on your device about collectable in-game income. Game analytics records the permission result, successful schedule, and whether you opened the game from that reminder. iOS does not provide the app with a reliable delivery event.
- If you buy coin packs, your coin balance and Apple's identifiers of the credited purchases are part of the local save on your device. See the in-app purchases section below.
- If you contact support, we process your email address, message, attachments, and any diagnostic details you include so we can respond to your request.
First-party game analytics
The app automatically sends the following pseudonymous information to Askal Digital. This collection is independent from advertising consent and Apple's App Tracking Transparency permission:
- A random app-scoped device ID, also called the app-install identifier, and a new random identifier for each game session; these are not your Apple ID, IDFA, IDFV, or a hardware identifier.
- Session start, end, duration, app version and build, iOS version, device class, selected language, locale region, and time zone.
- Feature and screen use; successful game actions such as in-game purchases, upgrades, jobs, collection, research, corporations, and local-notification interactions.
- Coin pack purchase attempts and coin use as described in the in-app purchases section below.
- Game progression such as cash and net worth values, income, tap level, catalog IDs and levels for businesses and upgrades, research IDs, corporations, cities, staff, collections, and prestige progress.
- Cash-button activity in short summaries rather than one network event per tap, including counts, duration, and game cash earned.
Analytics does not include player-chosen business names, an advertising identifier, contacts, precise location, or support-message contents. The server must receive an IP address to answer an internet request and uses it transiently for rate limiting, but does not write raw IP addresses into the analytics database or application logs. Locale region is an approximate setting and may not match where you are physically located.
Rewarded ads and App Tracking Transparency
Business Tycoon uses AppLovin MAX to show optional rewarded ads. Rewarded ads may involve AppLovin and its advertising partners processing device identifiers, advertising identifiers when permitted, IP address, app and ad interaction events, approximate location derived from network information, and diagnostics for ad delivery, fraud prevention, reporting, and advertising.
On iOS, the app may request permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt before using data for tracking across apps and websites owned by other companies. You can change this choice later in iOS Settings. If you decline tracking, rewarded ads may still be available, but they should be delivered without the same cross-app tracking permission.
AppLovin's own privacy policy and privacy management tools explain AppLovin's data practices and rights mechanisms in more detail: https://legal.applovin.com/privacy/.
Appstack campaign attribution
We use Appstack to measure which advertising campaigns lead to installs and coin-pack purchases. Appstack processes installation and device identifiers, device and app information, network information such as IP address, and attribution data. For verified coin purchases, we send the amount paid and currency. We do not send your email, name, phone number, date of birth, gender, Apple ID, receipt, or transaction identifier to Appstack.
Appstack respects Apple's tracking permission. Standard Apple Ads attribution is available without tracking authorization; detailed attribution requires authorization. Configured advertising integrations may receive conversion data from Appstack to measure campaigns. This is separate from our first-party game analytics. Appstack's privacy policy describes its processing, international transfers, and retention. Contact support@askaldigital.com for attribution-data access or deletion requests.
In-app purchases
Business Tycoon offers optional coin packs as consumable in-app purchases. Coins buy time in the game, such as finishing a timer early, and never change what a game action produces. Wherever coins can be spent, the free rewarded-ad alternative stays available.
- Apple processes the payment through the App Store. Askal Digital does not receive your payment card details, billing address, or Apple ID. Apple's privacy policy applies to the transaction and to Apple's purchase records.
- Your coin balance is part of the local save on your device, not a server account. The save also keeps Apple's transaction identifiers of credited coin packs so that a purchase is never credited twice. These identifiers stay on the device and are not sent to analytics.
- First-party game analytics records the coin pack's product ID, the purchase result (purchased, cancelled, pending, failed, or unavailable) with a bounded reason code, the number of coins credited or revoked, and where coins are spent in the game. It does not record the price, currency, transaction identifier, receipt, or any Apple ID information.
- Refunds are handled by Apple through https://reportaproblem.apple.com/. When Apple reports a refund, the app removes up to the refunded number of coins from the balance. Coins that were already spent are not restored, and what they bought is not undone.
- "Restore purchases" in the coin shop asks Apple for the purchase history of the Apple ID signed in on the device and credits coin packs that the current save has not recorded yet. It does not return spent coins and cannot recreate progress from a lost save. A purchase waiting for Ask to Buy approval is credited only after Apple reports the approved transaction.
For questions about a purchase, email support@askaldigital.com with the coin pack, the purchase date, and the app version. Apple's purchase confirmation is enough; we never need your payment details.
How information is used
- To run the game locally and preserve your progress on the device.
- To display optional rewarded ads and grant in-game rewards after eligible ad flows.
- To credit coin packs bought through Apple's In-App Purchase system to your local save, restore them from Apple's purchase history, and apply refunds reported by Apple.
- To schedule optional local reminders if you allow notifications.
- To understand sessions, feature use, notification engagement, game progression, and where more progression or balancing may be needed.
- To measure installs and coin purchases attributed to advertising campaigns through Appstack.
- To answer support requests and investigate issues you report.
- To comply with legal obligations and App Store requirements.
Sharing
Askal Digital does not sell player account data because the app does not create player accounts. Information may be shared with service providers only where needed to operate the app, provide support, deliver rewarded ads, comply with law, or protect the app from misuse. Rewarded ads are provided through AppLovin and may involve AppLovin's advertising partners. Campaign attribution is provided by Appstack as described above.
In-app purchases are processed by Apple under Apple's privacy policy. The app receives the purchase outcome and product identifier from Apple's StoreKit on the device; payment details stay with Apple.
First-party analytics is hosted for Askal Digital on a Hetzner server in Germany and stored in ClickHouse. Grafana is used by authorized Askal Digital personnel to view aggregate dashboards. These services are not used to sell data or track you across other companies' apps or websites.
This support website is hosted on the same Hetzner server and delivered over HTTPS by Caddy. The web server may process transient request and security data. The website does not include a custom analytics script, and request IP addresses are not written to the game analytics database.
Retention and deletion
- Local game data, including any coin balance, remains on your device until you reset progress in the app where available, delete the app, or iOS removes the data.
- High-volume analytics events for taps, feature actions, screen use, and in-app purchase attempts and results are deleted after 90 days. Install, session, first-session, progression, and local-notification analytics events are deleted after 365 days. Database TTL rules enforce these periods.
- Apple keeps its own purchase records under Apple's privacy policy. Deleting the app or the local save does not delete Apple's purchase history.
- Deleting the app stops future collection from that installation and removes its local analytics identifier.
- Support emails are retained for as long as reasonably needed to respond, maintain support history, and satisfy legal or operational requirements.
- AppLovin retention and deletion choices are handled through AppLovin's privacy mechanisms described in its privacy policy.
Your choices
- You can disable notifications in iOS Settings.
- You can change App Tracking Transparency permission in iOS Settings.
- You can stop using rewarded ads by not tapping rewarded ad buttons.
- You can play without buying coins; every coin action has a free rewarded-ad alternative.
- You can block in-app purchases in iOS Screen Time settings.
- You can request a refund for a coin pack from Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
- You can use "Restore purchases" in the coin shop after reinstalling the app.
- You can contact support@askaldigital.com with questions or requests concerning first-party analytics data.
- You can request support-email deletion by contacting support@askaldigital.com.
- You can delete local app data by deleting the app from your device.
Children
Business Tycoon is not directed to children. AppLovin states that it does not knowingly collect personal information from, or serve advertisements to, children as defined by applicable laws. In-app purchases go through Apple's purchase confirmation and support Apple's Ask to Buy for family accounts. If you believe a child has provided personal information through support or advertising flows, contact us at support@askaldigital.com.
International processing
First-party analytics is hosted in Germany. Support emails, website hosting data, advertising-related data, and Apple's purchase processing may take place in countries other than your own. Where required, service providers are expected to use appropriate safeguards for international data transfers.
Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy when the app, advertising setup, in-app purchase offering, support process, or legal requirements change. The updated date at the top of this page shows when the latest version was published.
